The reason why I have written this book is mainly to help the victims of personal injury accidents who cannot afford a solicitor but need some understanding of what is involved in making a personal injury claim.
I am not a lawyer or a solicitor which is a good thing because it means that you will be able to understand what I write as I am using plain English instead of technical insurance jargon where this can be avoided.
Therefore, because I am not a lawyer I am not seeking to provide you with legal or any type of professional advice in this book. You must consult a professional lawyer or accountant if you need professional legal or accountancy advice to deal with your own personal circumstances.
The Personal Injury Claims Secrets is based on my own personal experience handling personal injury claims for a number of insurers in the UK over a period of about 25 years. I have tried to bring this information as up to date as I can but there may be circumstances where the content is not current as the law is constantly changing and may have moved on.
You are therefore not to rely totally on just what I say but to read other books and materials on personal injury claims to bring your knowledge up to current practice in the subject.
All I am trying to do here is to relate to you the general approach I would take based on my own personal experience. The rest is up to you but if you are in any doubt whatsoever after reading this course then please seek professional legal advice.
In this course I look at personal injury claims from the perspective of claims handler looking at what claims come in from solicitors and how we deal with them from the insurance company.
You should therefore bear in mind that I have dealt with thousands of personal injury claims during my career from initial notification to final settlement. Therefore, I am familiar with the arguments and counter arguments deployed by both sides.
I know what arguments insurers use to defeat claims and those used against them to cause them to re-think their position and reach an agreement before the case gets to trial.
So armed with this knowledge I believe that I can help you to succeed with your personal injury claim if you decide to pursue this in person to avoid the risks of solicitor’s costs eroding your compensation cheque.
Further your case may not be straight forward in terms of liability but is of such a low value that solicitors may not wish to consider it. Instead of abandoning the claim you may still be able to recover some compensation but you need to know how.
You will learn how to claim compensation from insurers from drawing upon my personal experience in this course instead of just trying on your own and then fail as most people who go it on their own experience.
This is only Part 1 of the course but there is sufficient information in this part to assist you to win compensation for your personal injury claim.
